Aphmau originally made this project as a means of making a cinematic scene for her series called MyStreet. Aphmau and her team made the scene animated to make it more emotional, and impactful. Based on the communities responce, she and her team was very successful.

The owner of FluxionStudios, Fluxion, enjoyed the scene like many others and aspired to creating their own adaptation of the scene with his own characters. It was thus that this project would be the main project that he learned 3D Minecraft animation from, among others. Beginning in 2020, and with Fluxion knowing nothing, the entire project was done within a single Blender file, making the entire project thousands of frames in a single file. After much turmoil, the project was dubbed complete sometime in 2021. However, there was so much that was learned from that project that he wanted to try again, this time only better!
